How to disable SSH access on BMC?

1. Caution:

This article targets only Advantech BMC Web UI ( Node explorer ).

2. Purpose:

In general, SSH function is enabled for Administrator by default. Except Administrator, manually enabling SSH feature (permission)  for other BMC users is required.

This article will guide you on how to disable SSH access on BMC.

3. Target Audience:

All users who are using Advantech CIoT platforms with BMC feature.

4. Steps:

1. Login Web UI (Node explorer) with Administrator

2. Find Extra Configuration in side menu

3. Disable the SSH feature by hitting the icon in yellow:

4. Confirm the above action by ca click on "yes" in the pop windows.
