FWA-1011 BIOS setup item "OS Selection"

Purpose:

To explain how to configure BIOS setup item "OS Selection" and the affect.

Contents:

On FWA-1011, you can see there is a item OS Selection under BIOS Setup.

You can find it by the following steps.

The default setting  of OS Selection is "Windows" on FWA-1011. If linux OS will be used on this product, it needs to be set as "Intel Linux". If not, the power button will has no effect under OS, which means you cannot use power button to power off the system. there is no other affects if OS Selection is not correctly configured. If power button function is not needed under OS, it is also not to be considered.

This item is only exit on products which use Apollo lake platform (FWA-1011/1211/2011) .

FWA-2011 don't show this item and the default setting is "Intel Linux".

FWA-1211 shows this item and the default setting is "Intel Linux".

So manual setting is only needed on FWA-1011, other ENPD products not needed.
