FWA-3033 How to read NMC FRU by afru and ipmitool

Purpose:

To show how to read NMC FRU on BMC SKU and Non-BMC SKU.

Scope:

FWA-3033

Advantechers technician

FWA-3033 user

Steps:

FWA-3033 supports 2 NMC slots, please pay attention to the channel number of both NMC slots.

BMC SKU: use ipmitool to read NMC FRU

NMC1:

# ipmitool fru print 1

NMC2:

# ipmitool fru print 2

Non-BMC SKU: use Advantech afru to read NMC FRU

NMC1:

# afru –nR 9

NMC2:

# afru –nR 1
