FWA-6171 DIMM Population Suggestion

Purpose:

Guide user properly install memory modules by providing physical DIMM slots info and recommended memory configuration for DDR4 DIMM population fro Ice Lake processor based systems.

Target Audience:

For users who bought FWA-6171 series platforms

Top View of DIMM sockets:

1. Each FWA-6171 DIMM channel supports 2 DIMMs (sockets) , the Blue DIMM socket is for primary  socket (ex: CN76, CN78, CN80...), and black DIMM socket is secondary socket (ex: CN77, CN79,CN81...)
2. Install DIMM module in primary socket first is recommended and then secondary socket per DIMM channel. 
3. Please refer to attached PDF for recommended DIMM populations.
4. Without following the recommended DIMM populations, the CPU may NOT be able to utilize (initiate) installed memory modules, or downgrade memory performance.
