Video demo of BIOS, BMC Firmware upgrading via ipmitool command

Purpose:

This way to remote upgrade BMC & BIOS Firmware by ipmitool command.

There is no service impact in the BMC & BIOS F/W upgrade and have to upgrade TWICE.

Service impact when x86 system reboot after BIOS FW upgrade, need to do TWICE

fru fw upgrade no restrict before BMC FW upgrading or after upgrade.

Audience:

Familiar with the WEB GUI operation and IPMITOOL utility

Prerequisites:

Users may log in to BIOS to check the BMC IP address and connect the RJ45 cable to link "IPMI" to the network or DHCP server, and the system needs to power up.

Note: 1. Don't flash BMC & BIOS at power off mode.

          2. Source server & platform under same switch/network
