Why the LED keeps ON on Management Ports on FWA-6170

Purpose

In some network scenarios, users may be confused as to why the management Ethernet ports cannot be completely shut off (totally down) when the operating system is off.

Target Audience

Users who need to understand why the management Ethernet ports keeps on when it's connected.

Minimum requirement

The rule can be applied for most of Advantech products which have BMC inside

Brief explanation

1. The management Ethernet chip was powered by standby power , means when the system was powered off , the chip for Management purpose still keeps the power fed. 
2. For system which is having management Ethernet ports, there's BMC inside. The side band channel of Ethernet chipset redirect the traffic to BMC device, so the ports must keep on for the manageability on the system.
