Purpose
This FAQ introduces DIMM population rule of MIC-5345 series ATCA blades.
Target Audience
For users who need to install memory modules ATCA MIC-5345 series boards.
Procedures
Because MIC-5345 supports dual banks per channel, populating memory modules with rules is required. It’s not mentioned in detail in users manual, but can be found on PCB printing. Please have attached pic for ref, simple rule is the far side is lower order DIMM slots. (i.e. A1 , B1, C1 ... would be the first priority to put memory modules., then A2, B2 ... etc)
