How to Check RTM-5108 Storage with MIC-5345

Purpose

The RTM-5108 is a single slot (6HP) ATCA rear transition module of Advantech ATCA MIC-5345 Series. An Avago SAS3008 controller provides two SAS/SATA ports to two 2.5" Direct Attached Storage drives installed in the RTM-5108 storage trays and two miniSAS HD ports. This document will introduce how to check the status on RTM and how to get into LSI ROM for storage configurations.

Target Audience

For user who uses MIC-5345 blades and needs add-on RTM boards.

Prerequisites

RTM-5108 is not suitable for other Advantech ATCA blades except MIC-5345 series.
