- Please review the following picture. The PCIE routing sequence of the lower right two NMCs (labeled 5 & 6) differs from the other NMC slots. RD notes that this design was intended to enhance PCIE bus layout stability.
- The BIOS is unable to modify the PCIE routing sequence of all NMC slots, including the lower right two (labeled 5 & 6).

Recommending user uses Linux udev Ethernet naming rules to define/rename NIC port naming if Ethernet name needs to follow NMC sequence, please refer following link to modify "/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules" for set Ether naming sequence.
