FWA-6172 NMC PCIE routing sequence

Purpose:

It lists FWA-6172 NMC PCIE routing for customer reference, 

Target Audience:

For Advantech TSE, RBU AE, outsourcing service engineer(s) and End customer with the following knowledges  :

• Hardware troubleshooting experience

Content:

• Please review the following picture. The PCIE routing sequence of the lower right two NMCs (labeled 5 & 6) differs from the other NMC slots. RD notes that this design was intended to enhance PCIE bus layout stability.
• The BIOS is unable to modify the PCIE routing sequence of all NMC slots, including the lower right two (labeled 5 & 6).

• Recommending user uses Linux  udev Ethernet naming rules  to define/rename NIC port naming if Ethernet name needs to follow NMC sequence, please refer following link to modify "/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules"  for set Ether naming sequence.
