NMC-6002 FW 16.27 doesn't support 40G LR QSFP module

Purpose:

It lists why NMC-6002(FW: 16.27) doesn't support 40G LR QSFP module for customer reference,

Target Audience:

For Advantech TSE, RBU AE, outsourcing service engineer(s) and End customer with the following knowledges  :

• SFP module  troubleshooting experience

Content:

1 NMC-6002 LAN port can't link with Switch when user installs a 40G LR QSFP module (ex: Advantech NMC-TEL040L-00A1) in NMC-6002 (FW:16.27.2008).   

2. The shipping Firmware version of NMC-6002 is 16.27.2008 (ADV0000000009), and this Firmware doesn't support 40G LR module,

3. Suggesting user install 40G SR QSFP module when NMC-6002 needs to link up 40G switch
