Discontinuation of Legacy Feature Addition in New BIOS Code

Purpose:

This document aims inform you of an important decision regarding our BIOS development practices. In line with our commitment to innovation and enhancing user experiences, we have decided to discontinue adding legacy features to our new BIOS code. This move aligns with our dedication to delivering cutting-edge technologies, security enhancements, and improved performance to our users.

Scope:

We want to bring your attention to the adjustments that will impact certain CPU models.

Effective immediately, our Alder Lake, Rapids Lake, and Sapphire Rapids CPUs will be subject to revised specifications. This decision is made to ensure that our products remain at the forefront of performance and innovation in this ever-evolving technological landscape.

The devices currently affected by these changes are FWA-3034, FWA-6172, FWA-6072, and FWA-5072. We are committed to assisting you in managing this transition and are available to address any questions or concerns you may have.
